Advice

My advice to the upcoming Eng 304 students is just to make sure that you enjoy yourself as much as you possibly can. The class itself is not really tough, you can make it as easy as you want it to be. Make sure that you attend class so you dont miss any really important assignments. i also noticed that to receive a good grade in this class, just make sure that you do what you are told and everything will work out in your favor.

Ethics research

In our ethics research, Matthew and i decided to look at the drug and alcohol policies for colleges and universities all across the nation. We actually went deep into the Clemson policy which was just passed on february 29, 2008. The amnesty policy is MAAP, which stands for Medical Alcohol Amnesty Policy. The policy just states all the rules and what you have to do in order to obey these rules.

Ethical Lapses

As i read the article i thought it was very informative and interesting. I enjoyed reading it but it didnt really surprise me too much. i was noticing that alot of the ethical lapses that occur are never discovered or brought out because many companies do not want their name to be linked with scandalous activities and have that bad reputation. During the article i found out that some of the cases are solved individually and some are solved with the help of the company.

Writing on the web

I think that there is a big difference between writing on the web and writing on paper because there are so many different options in which you have to consider. When you are writing on the web you should be more short and precise with what you say because people do not have as much time to spend on the computer and read something rather than them reading it on a written paper. Also when you write on the web your options as far as style and color are much more handy, because on paper you have one color. I would rather want to write a paper on the web.

Free Write

This week has been very busy for me,i had so much work to do, but the important thing is that i got it all done. My spring break was extremely relaxing for me. I went home to Atlanta and i got to see all my family again which is always a good thing. On thursday morning i left Atl and drove up to Charleston to hang out for the last weekend of spring break. it was also very relaxing. We stayed at a beach house in the city of Isle of Palms which a very nice place to live. The house we stayed in was right by the beach. I hope to go back there real soon.

Lies on Resumes

As i was reading the article, i noticed that lying on a resume is a popular thing around the world. I would have never guessed that about 50% of people applying for jobs lie on their resumes. It is not fair to the people who are telling the truth obviously because their chances decrease because of the people who make their resumes sound almost perfect.

Reading this was not a surprise to me because i have heard of a numerous amount of occasions where people have been caught lying and cheating of things of this sort. If you get caught in this situation it will lead to nothing but big trouble for the future. So i always go with the safest route which is telling the whole truth.

Presentation

When it comes to the presentations in class all of them were interesting because they were things that i never knew about. I was glad that i got to see all of them. I Learned a lot of new things and i hope to use them in the future.

The Presentation that stood out to me the most was the one with the chicken. I thought it was really cool that we had a chicken in the classroom and it wasn't going wild.I never knew that you could tame a chicken like that.
